Default High RPM'S ?

i just purchased a 02 Dakota R/T and the previous owner said he had the tranny rebuilt a few months back and he installed a BM shifter in place of the column one. He also stated he had some kinda of tranny kit installed in the tranny or some bs. Well im just curious what are the rpm's for this tranny while cruising at about 73 on the interstate. Today i was pushing about 2300 which i think is high but i dont no on these r/t's with the 360. As far as i know the gears are all stock so if anyone can help me out. thanks

The R/T has 3.92 gears stock, those RPMs sound right on.

oh ya ok...well it just fills funning when its shifting. It goes from first to second then almost instantly it fills like its in third and then shifts to four, or what i assume is fourth. I dont really care for the bm shifter im hopeing to get it removed and put it back on the column. i dont no what all i need though.

thanks man. i guess mines about right then. i looked at pics of yours and mine looks pretty much just like it. I am curious what size tires are those, what kinda roll pan is in the back and is it lowered? i like the stance yours has and it looks lowered, maybe a 2/4. I have a pos pan on that back of this things that has 2 holes in it for exhaust tips and i dont like it.

The tires are 255/40ZR17's, im not sure on the roll pan, i'll look at it tomorrow and see if i can find a name on it. It already had the pan and lowered when i got it but it has 3 inch lowering blocks in the back and the front was lowered by cutting the coils, honestly its not the smoothest ride but i do like how it looks.
