Head Unit wiring diagram
I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything... can anyone help me out with a head unit diagram for my 2000 Dodge Dakota SPORT? I stress the word Sport because I've stumbled accross diagrams for the Dakota, but not the sport edition... Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
lol well man it would be worth it if you get the connector trust me. after you cut that pig tail off its a real pita to find out what wires are what. id rather wash my mouth out with buck shot then install a head unit after some one done a hack job lol
okay so I got the diagram... but I can't interpret it! I can, for the most part, but here's where ya'll laugh at the dumbass who should "leave it to a pro.." Which wire is my ground wire?

Ground is either a braided silver ground strap or a 14 gauge black wire. Either way it is done, they both connect to the chassis of the factory radio. The factory grounds can become contaminated over time. It may be best to extend the new unit's ground wire and ground the new unit to clean solid bare metal under an existing bolt, nut or screw in either kick panel.

Then what is my black/ green wire? It's not with the others. It had some plastic thing on the end of it that clipped onto a metal tab on my stock head unit. I thought that was the ground...
