Hey Guys, just got a 2001 Dakota Quad and there seems to be something wrong I think and hope only with the radio.

It never turns off even after the key is out none of the controls work either it is lock in place.

If you pull the fuse you have about 15 seconds where it will work then it locks.

Is it the radio or is it tied into the Alarm somehow. Weird that it locks right up and none of the controls do anything.

I am going to get another one tomorrow but if it is something else I would like to check it out before I buy a new one.

Figured out the problem it was the Purple wire from the CTM that was causing the issue. So I unplugged it and the radio works great all controls work.
