is there a break in period for you on the HO motor? or since you got it used is it good to go or what? just curious cause i know some motors it is smart to have like a 500 mile break in period or something

better, filthier, nastier. the different compression ratio and combustion chambers make it sound much better at idle.

yea thats why i asked because i know every car is different. i know with brand new cars there is usually about a 500 mile break in period. but my buddy with a 05 grand cherokee with 4.7 just had the whole top end rebuilt (radiator hose fell off and it overhead and seized the valves) and he was told to run it hard right after it was rebuilt. wonder what the difference is...

well 500miles down and i did several WOT runs. its definelty an HO but i was expecting huge gains over my old ho cams mod. dont get me wrong the full ho feels better, sounds better and pulls harder. I am happy with the HO, getting my o2 sensor bung welded in tmw so i can get a decent tune on it now!

i know my custom tune will REALLY set me apart from my old motor in terms of hp.
