Default Kinda confused ( tps & speed sensor)

Well i just replaced my speed sensor because my abs and brake light would come on after i hit about 35mph. Anyways its still doin it. Weird thing is it doesnt always do it. This morning the lights didnt come on, my cruise worked and everything. But my truck had symptoms of a bad tps with it randomly having the rpms jump without changeing throttle any. On the way home lights came on like always but no tps symptoms. It only acts as if the tps is bad when the brake and abs lights are off Any ideas or should i just replace the tps and see what happens? Oh and i dont have a voltmeter to check it either. Thanks

my truck does that with the cruise and my abs lights started doing the same thing until they were constantly on. they are 2 separate issues i believe

i was always told it was the speed sensor causing them to come on but after replacing it and having issues with the tps only when they aint on has me wonderin if the tps has anything to do with it

I had a problem with the abs and brake light randomly coming on , and it started doing it out of the blue , drove myself crazy finding and looking at all the threads i could find on the subject on all the dodge sites i went to . One guy said to inspect everything starting with the rear brakes and work forward from there , turns out he was right , because i found a problem with one side of the rear brakes , the wheel cyl had froze at some point in time and quit working and the shoes were still like new on that side , the other side had worn down enough that it was almost to the rivets in the shoe lineing , so after i replaced both wheel cyl`s and brake shoes i havent had a problem since with the abs and brake lights comeing on at all !! Might be something to check into when you get a chance ??
