1999 Dakota Shift Issues
SERIOUS ISSUES HERE. Have a '99 dodge dakota 3.9 liter 42re trans. Would REV up to 4 to 5K rpm's before shifting to second gear. (Sometimes it wouldnt shift at all). I pulled the codes a few months ago P0138 which is for O2 sensor, P1757, P1763 & P1762 all of which are for trans. governor pressure psi and voltage improper. I changed out the governor pressure solenoid and sensor (transducer) which did nothing. Brought it to my trans. guy and he tells me I need a new computer, (ECM) for the truck. I get a new ECM and swap it out. After that the truck shifted fine for about a month then check engine light came back on and truck started having issues shifting again so I pulled the codes again and I'm getting the P1762, P1763 & P1757 codes again.
WTF else do I need to do other than driving this POS off a cliff??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
