I have an 03 QC 5.9l 4x4 that has recently been dieng while driving. After it quits it cranks all day but wont restart till it has some time to "cool down"... CEL is on and codes p0601 aqnd p0320 are coming up. Just replaced coil after problem started, any other ideas would be helpful.

 

update- replaced plugs and wires today and unhooked the battery for a while to see if the 0320 code would clear....(I think thats a cylinder 2 misfire) hooked the battery back up and started the truck, codes gone but the truck wont idle now without giving it gas...lost here

 

mine did the same thing all i did was replace the battery cable connector plugs and clean the post up and now it hasnt died since and also it could be a fuel pump or fuel filter problem id put some fuel filter treatment in ur gas tank and see if that fixes the problem good luck to ya

 

Check your battery grounds. Mine used to do the same thing sometimes then I put a new terminal on and hasnt done it since.
