Question looking to get a bit more power out of my truck.

ok i have a 4.7L engine all stock for now. i was think about putting in a new cam and more then likely updating all the internals to the headers. i dont know if my future truck mods would effect those parts so this is what i have planed for the truck i am going to be putting in a Ram air hood with a ram air intake, plus i am going to be doing a full exhaust headers back. So my question is what brand should i go with to get the best bang for the buck?

Well ill save you some money right now. The 4.7 manifolds flow really good for stock and most people dont change them out for the fact a set of headers flow about the same as the mani's.

Sounds like you should find a Jeep HO motor and just build a drop-in motor...unless its a recreational vehicle only...anyway, cam, TB, CAI, exhaust...header/mani prob not worth a swap as ramguy said. or nitrous

well the exhaust headers i was going to get was the shorty flow tech headers to a 3 " magnaflow cat to a 3" magnaflow muffler and side ported before the rear tire. and the only reason i changing the exhaust head is cause it is pretty dam rusted and the hardware holding it on is rusted so i just want it to look a little cleaner.

and thank you thunder for the link
