Default front driveshaft CV joint took a poop

so this morning the cv joint on my front driveshaft decided to take a ****. it sucks cause my 2002 is AWD, so i cant just take the driveshaft out and rock rear wheel drive, i wish i could do that but it is never easy. anyways, anybody know where i can find a good used one (CV joint or driveshaft)? i am searching ebay as we speak, but wondering if anybody knows any other credible parts sellers

could you possibly find a thread on that? cause i was told that wouldnt be the best idea since it is AWD, and what would be the difference with 4Hi?

just to take a guess, but when it is in AWD the tcase constantly decides where to send power based on traction levels right? and when in 4Hi, it is locked in and both axles get equal power? therefore just turning the flange on the front of the tcase but just not sending power to the front axle but it would not be confusing the tcase and the center diff.

was i close?

do you know what would be involved with getting a double u joint front shaft as far as converting flange on the t case to accept a u joint instead of CV axle?

you dont have to convert anything, it will use the same mounting bolts and flanges.
