Default Wanted: 3.9 Magnum engine

I need a complete GOOD running preferably low mileage engine for my 01 Dak 4x4 Sport A/T. I am in northeast Pa. so metro NY/NJ/Pa areas and possibly D.C. or upstate NY areas will work. I need this soon! TIA!

Oh dang if only this was a couple month newer, I could have pulled mine out before insurance scrapped it. Truck hit the bridge after hitting black ice, engine was fine, frame was all twisted to hell.

Default timeframe...

Depending on your timeframe I might have one for you - am swapping a 4bt into my '99 so I could have one available in a month or two - not low miles though: 153,000, but runs great. Just want a diesel and better mileage. Was going to R/R the basics once I get it out and store it awhile but if you need it we could arrange and exchange. Charleston, WV.

Hey Patrick, are you the original owner and have you maintained the truck properly? Does it burn or leak any oil etc?

Strat,
I am the original owner - switched to synthetic at about 50,000 and have been running it ever since. Right now it needs a water pump (weeps a bit up front) but I'm putting it off until I get the motor out. Add about a quart of oil between changes - running about 7500 between changes on Mobil 1. Have complete records using gascubby app of all mx ever done on the vehicle. She's been my baby - part of the reason I was thinking about putting the motor in storage to use in something else should the opportunity arise.
Good luck in finding one, or let me know if you're still interested.
