as much as i dont want to and really would love to keep this truck and fix it and run it as a summer truck im in a pinch and need the money. so here we go

i have a 1998 2wd v6 single cab short box 5 speed with 20"s
need a clutch master cylinder. other then that it runs great.

deffently a little ruff around the edges thus the price.

im only asking 800 with the 20"s

Honestly throw a set of used fender flares on there and put some bed liner on the bottom of the cab and put a 1 in front of the 800 and thats your new price lol Does it still drive? im looking for a cheap beater tho I dont need a truck this one is cheap.

 

Too bad it aint a 4x4...I could have used the motor if it was and running of course. lol

 

yeah truck runs great and it got 168k on the clock. and yea if it was 4x4 i wouldnt be selling it. being that i live in the adk where its snows 9 months out of the year running 2x4 for more then a summer truck is pointless. as i said before i really need the cash. my big truck needs a clutch and headers so its time to fix the dd and sell the toys

 

there is no differance between the v6 from the 2x4 and 4x4. well beside it hasnt been worked as hard

 

Um it needs a lot more than fender flares lol. Good bones though. A good project truck or just a beater. 2wd reg cab manuals do decent on gas too compared to a lot of the bigger daks.

Where in the adk do you live? Both my parents went to PS so we go once or twice a year. I love that area.

i grew up in gabriels which is about 4 miles from PSC and yea im sure it better on gas and all but my issue is i like to play and party down long dead end dirt roads and its mad wet these year so 2x4 dont help any. and as for gas. you might be suprized at how bad the gas mileage actually is. my big v8 gets the same in town and only about 1 to 2 mpg less on the highway. i think it might be because the big truck is running a taller gear for some reason. but i will tell you one thing that little v6s do much better donuts then the v8s ever could.
