How bad is 168k on a 4.7? Am I looking at maybe doing an engine swap in the near future? Details men, details. I'm in love with the truck in every other possible way but the mileage. Also, is that a good price? I really don't know. I feel like it's high for the mileage.

That seems a bit steep. Unless you really want/need the 5 speed, you could find a 4.7 with fewer miles for the same or even cheaper. I've seen several 4.7's around, and even a few R/T's for cheaper than that. Like I said, if you're looking for the 5 speed, maybe try and work out a deal with this guy I think the 5 speeds are hard to come by with the 4.7. Not sure on the mileage.
I'm craving the 5 speed and the 4.7 some kind of bad, and i'm craving a 5 speed regular cab with r/t rims and a 4.7 more than anything.... But at the same time, it's not worth a grand or more difference.
KBB is like 3 grand on the truck.
My truck is worth like 8,500...

I'm going to let this one go. It's pretty much the exact truck I want, which sucks. He just won't lower the price because he doesn't need to sell it. Sucks.

Sometimes it happens. Before I bought mine, I looked at a 98 5.2 5 speed, I loved it even though it had 145k and needed a new fender. It was exactly what I wanted, but the guy didn't want to lower the price. Just gotta let it go.
