Hi, I have a 99 Dodge Dakota single cab V6 with no AC. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a drop in AC kit for it. I just Moved to Florida and really need AC

 

i dont think it would be that easy to just drop one in. you might be able to get a after market system but after you buy it and install it it would prob be easyer to just traid your truck in on one that has it already

 

The difficulty I see is that it's almost 12 years old. It's unlikely you'll find such a "kit."

If you don't mind dropping your dash then you may be able to find a parts truck and take the entire hvac assembly out of it along with the vacuum controls, condenser, and compressor.

I'm not sure if the wiring is already in place in your truck or not.
