Every time I post on something, I get an email every time someone else posts on the same thread. I literally have hundreds and hundreds of emails from this site.

How do I set it up so I am not automatically subscribed to threads I post in? I am a member of a fishing forum and it was as simple as clicking a box to turn subscriptions off....can anyone help please?

 

Go to your user CP and then down to your edit options scroll down and you will see email notifcations and the box will say instant notifications and you can change it to none,daily or weekly

 

oh thank god, i get hundreds of emails aday also.

 

You can pick which ones you want to get emails for if you decide that intant is too much for you.

 

you can also unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of the email that each thread sends. just scroll down to the bottom of the email

 

or if u just want to unsubscribe to one thread you can go to that thread then click on the thread tools pull down on top of the first post
