Default New guy with SCT Tune questions

Like the title states I've got some questions about the SCT Tune. First, Is it worth it with just basic upgrades done to the truck? Just CAI, and Free Flow exhaust. 2nd would it be able to disable the post-cat o2 sensors. What about taking out the torque management and adjusting shift firmness?

Also, will it do much with gas mileage? It's my weekend truck so it doesn't really matter, just a thought

you can tell sean to turn off your o2 sensors if you wish. and yes its worth it! and since you have the 5.2 he can adjust shifting firmness.

That sounds perfect! Yeah, the cat converter's gonna go so the post cat o2's will have to as well. This will definitely be next on my list. After I do future upgrades will I have to get a new programmer or just pay for more tunes? (I'm new to all this computer control stuff)

just email him at hemifever@aol.com

you pay 265 which includes the handheld and 3 canned tunes. if you do more major mods then you gotta do custom tuning which involves getting a wideband gauge.

I've had my sct for a week now and I love it!! Im currently running 93 tune on 89 gas. So far its been great still in the stages of testing. Today dont know if my fuel gauge is being weird but I was in town(not stop and go) 52 miles on my odo and I only used a 1/8 of a tank where as I was going 20 miles and using a 1/8 before I dont think something is right lol.

Wow, maybe you got lucky, I doubt my gas mileage could be picked up any to amount to anything. Them 3.92's in the rear make that tank suck dry quick, but the ole girl will get up quick to be stock

Ok guys one more question, I've decided to get a modded Kegger intake, and I'm gonna buy a better throttle body, Which is better, FastMan Throttle Bodies, or the modified OEM ones from Hughes? or hell even the Holley ones?
