Default Miles per tank and Fuel cleaning question.

Just wondering what most of you get out of a full tank of 20 gallons on a 3.9 v6. I was getting about 300 right before the low gas alarm goes off, now i got the plugs changed to bosch 4 new cap and rotor and a so called fuel system cleaning through the throttle body. If anybody has had this fuel cleaning done at firestone plz let me know how it went, so far i have had my truck to start shaking badly now like serverly bad gas then it stops when i hit the gas. Forgot to mention it is a automatic and that the 300 miles is with the ac on whole trip.

That's almost exactly what I get with my 2000 Dakota Sport V8. Mostly highway miles (80% at least), but some city as well.

last road trip from NYC to watertown i went 322 miles on 20 gallons. have a 22 gallon tank, light goes on when i've burned about 16. only engine mod at the time was a 180 degree themostat--didn't use a/c but locked out the OD on my 46re transmission for most of the way.

highway moderate speed i get between 280 and 320 (at 70-90 mph) however like my last post IF i mind my manners i could prob strech that ALOT further because I just put a TB spacer on with an Intake and a 40 series and just got 16 in the city with 225 miles and still had over 1/4 tank left. Hope it helps.

Ah hah! i knew this four banger was good for something. Over 400 miles to a tank before the gas light even comes on. I may get there a whole lot slower but ill be filling up half as often.

I get around 325 miles from a little over 17 gal, combined city and highway miles (60% city) from my 98 3.9 with 170K miles. Basically, just under 20 MPG.
