Wink Dreaming of this turbo truck.

One of my dream truck mods.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mooe8...&feature=feedf I like this one too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvxPq...eature=related

Does anyone know how much a setup like the one in that Dakota costs? I read in my Dodge manual that adding turbo requires different engine gaskets. Is that true?

I've watched both of those videos like 5 or 10 times each lol. I would love either one. I'm not sure on an exact figure, but you'd be talking some serious $$ to get a set up like that. Don't know about the gaskets though.

Love the first one. That's a bad looking and sounding truck. If I had that I'd have to budget a couple of thou just for rear tires.

I think it would be cheaper to convert a Dakota into a turbo riding vehicle instead of spending 25 to 33 grand for a new car with turbo.

My guess if anyone wanted to do this project.

Used 2nd gen Dakota truck - $2,500 to $6,000

turbo and modifying engine- $4,000 to $5,000

tires like you said could be $1,000 for that amount of power.

misc parts another $1,000

Am I close on the prices?
