Default Back Fires through TB?!

For awhile now my truck has been lacking power (2003 quad cab 3.9/auto) I have done a complete tune up, cleaned the throttle body, put on a CAI and a new muffler and done general maintence to no prevail. The main problem I am having is once the truck starts it runs great, put it in gear and drive less than 100 yards and the truck starts to backfire and spit and sputter, but it is backfiring through the throttle body. What is causing this? It is throwing no codes at all, and after it backfires the first time it wont do it again until the truck is shut off and restarted. Any ideas?

i dont know in carburated engine is because is dirty or is very open (it gets to much fuel and dont burn it at all) thats the reason of back fire so the coal in the exaust burn and is the fire but that in a carburated engine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgM3-j_v9O0

If the timing is *way* off it'll backfire like that...

What gets me is that it only does it after you start it for 2-3 seconds and then it goes back to running smooth, until you shut it off and restart it. I would think if it was the timing it would be acting like this all the time.

Well, it may not be a big deal now as the truck got wrecked this morning. A flat bed tow truck backed into the front end doing about 20 mph and now I have to wait for the insurance to come look at it. Oh joy!!

I was not driving it, a friend of mine was, and I cant even go out to get pictures until the insurance looks at it to decide what they are going to do with it. Kinda sucks, I liked my little truck, problems and all!
