Haha nah man. R/T doesn't have 4 doors. And gets 12 mpg. When I hit it big I will get an R/T (the truck I wanted, and almost got, when I was 16) and put a bigass turbo and a 200 shot on it. For now, I'm good with 20 mpg, but I'm not good with 0-60 in 10 seconds. If I had to do it all over again I would get my exact truck with the V8.

I got my truck in April of last year with 17k miles on it for $12,200. Put over 30k miles on it and only depreciated $1000? SWEET!! KBB on the truck when I bought it was over $14k. I stole a truck from the Stealership!!

wow, if you get that tuner and methanol injection you will be lighting up tires all day.billy told me i would get around 70hp more with injection at the tire.

im sure over 30-40 will be obtainable with your set up, you do have a QC they weigh alot, so start stripping out the interior like me. if i had 300 bucks to spend on my truck that would and will be my next mod.

Lol the whole reason I got a quad cab was so I could have EXTRA interior!! I don't want it to be a dragster, and I dont need a 14 second 1/4 mile. But fer ***** sake this 17 second 1/4 mile is reeeedonkulous. When I was shopping for trucks I ruled out a V8 because my boat that I tow only weighs like 2500 lbs, my truck is rated to tow 5000, and I wanted fuel economy. The truck does weigh like 4600 lbs though....V6 is just inadequate.

MY fuel economy is great for a truck, I get 18 mpg in the city and once on a trip to the Florida Keys (500 miles round trip) I didnt even have to refill my gas tank. Got over 24 mpg @ 70-75 MPH. That's all fine and dandy and I made a "responsible" decision by getting the V6, but if I had to do it all over again I would trade 3-4 mpg for another 50 hp and 70 torques.

Not gonna do methanol injection, I need this thing to get 140-150k miles on it.

I have been thinking about getting 3.73 gears...I have 3.55's now. I think I would get better mpg in teh city because right now my truck bogs off hte line and I really have to get on it to get it up to 55 mph...I would lost 1-2 mpg on the highway, but I can live with 21-22 mpg all day long. I think that, plus the tune, and a Fastman TB, might get me to where I wanna be, without sacrificing fuel economy too much. 0-60 of 9 seconds and a 16 second 1/4 mile time would do just fine....and those 3 mods should only cost around $1000 all together.

methanol isnt like Nos, its just water and methanol or you can use -20F wiper fluid. you cant really blow anything up with it.

500miles on 1 tank? thats 2 fillups for me. i get 16.

not in the gas, but down the throttle body. and by dump i mean, a fine mist using a special nozzle and pump.
