Default My dad's 02' Dakota quad cab 4x4 and my 97' Dakota standard cab.

Mine is a '97 2wd 5spd. I bought mine in early June for 3g's (crazy good price from my cousin who is a car dealer)

My dad's is a '02 4x4 auto. just got his from my cousin also... but he payed a bit more for it, how much im not sure. (only thing i dont like is the short bed)

I'll keep updating as our trucks change... his is most likely going up... & mines going down. opposites attract.

seeya later..

Those are two fine looking Dakotas. I do have to say I'm a little partial to the black Quad though. HMMM, I wonder why?

please tell me why i cant seem to figure it out.[8D]

Thanks for the compliments.... hopefully theyll be looking much better.

My plans are much more in depth than his.... He wants me to make him an intake instead of paying $150 and eventually he wants some type of lift and prolly bigger tires for his wheels.

I plan on the following: 18" or 19" wheels, wedge box sub setup, beltech 2" & 4" drop.( if i cant find one that does more), either a cervinis or xenon full kit and repaint(which i'll be doing all of installation while im at school for autobody) also wanted to tint & slap on some clear signals.

Oh and where can i order a complete set of fender flairs...im pissed mine didnt come with them.

thanks for checking out our trucks...updates will come in the future.

might want to do the body kit and fender flares all at once since i've read here that some of the kits dont work with the factory flares.

And on that note, my right rear flare has a big gash in it, dealer said it was like $120 just for the one.

I held out buying my QC because of the short bed, but really it's a pretty decent size. I just wish there was ~50" between the wheel wells so sheet lumber would fit better.

Mine came with a snug top canopy on it but I took it off and I like it even better. I think I'd put it back on if I was going on a road trip or if I had a dog to cart around, but otherwise I'm leaving it off.

thanks for the heads up...i was gonna wait till i had everything body wise collected then sand and primer the whole truck and all body kit peices and fenderflairs...then respray he truck and all peices and install the parts.

but damn... 120 is alot for one... i think thats a bit of a rip off. Im an information *****, and i know if they werent a stock part as in something you bought aftermarket you would atleast get 2 for that price. that sucks though.
