i currently own a 97 dakota sport with the 5.2 and a 5 speed its a club cab. im looking at a 4.7 5 speed but its a single cab im wondering if im gonna like not having the room. and wondering what peoples oppinion on the lack of room or plus of shorter truck and wheel base.

It depends what you all do and what you haul in your back seat. Any reason why you dont want to keep your 5.2. Those 5.2 with the 5 speeds are bad ***!!

I know I would die...Im just a little bigger than average tho. It's a few lbs lighter than a CC tho

I personally want a 4 door so down sizing may be a pain.

I prefer my club cab over a single. Little less clostraphobic, and gives me somewhere to throw crap when I have a passenger (i also work out of my truck, so...)

im 400lbs and its not horrible but it would be a lot nicer but its still not bad, switching to a regular cab might take a little time to get used to
