Default 2002 Quad Cab parking lights/turn signal question

Bought me some projector headlights to put into my Quad cab. Get home get stock lights out and went to plug new ones up and the plugs are wrong on the headlights, or so I thought. Come to find out the parking lights SHOULD be a 3157, they are not. Mine is a flat 3 prong looking connector I can't find anywhere. I haven't been to any auto parts store to check out different bulb styles. I checked all the factory wiring and it is factory and hasn't been change. Anyone know what I am talking about?

It sounds like you are looking at the wiring harness connector.

The 3 pin plug connects to the 90 degree 3157 socket. You remove the 3157 socket and lamp by rotating it 120 degrees and removing it from the lamp fixture.

Re-connect the socket to the 3 pin plug and install the 3157 socket/connector combo into you new fixture.
