Default HemiDak-Quads 97,Jeep Hemi Swap....

To all who followed my last Dodge Dakota Quad Cab Hemi Build , Helped with info and gave support . Thank you . Unfortunately The Truck is totaled so I am in need of another vehicle. Since the Insurance companies have no interest in paying me for the womans mistake , I'm on my own ..
I found this Jeep Wrangler Laredo and purchased it to put this Hemi in. I hope it can be done without too much change in things like gauges , and interior wiring..Sinse the Jeep don't have fuel injection, nothing is going to work. It would be so much easier to put a Chevy 350 in it out of a Z-71. But it wouldn't be as interesting or as satisfying in the end. I would like to be able to take this jeep to car shows or the mud hole , A Chevy motor in a Jeep would impress very few people, where a Hemi in an old YJ would have the OHHH , COOL factor...SO here goes , The first step will be setting up a place to do the swap and unload the Jeep from the trailer...I'm exited...

No, I guess I need to figure out how to use photobucket. It's important that I include pics on this thread if it's going to be usefull to anyone..

Just sign up and upload your pics. Then from there you just copy and paste the image code and paste it on to here and it will work

This project won't be done any time soon. Money is tight and I have to figure out what to do about a transmission. I'd like to stay with a stick shift..We'll see ??
