price of Mopar parts over the top
The price of parts from a dealership or Mopar are over the top price wise aftermarket prices are on the most part 50% to 70% LESS that Mopar parts, Mopar just rip’s you off in my opinion.
I will tell you most auto body shops don’t buy Mopar they may put that on their contract but don’t believe that they use after market as they can get away with it and charge the insurance for Mopar they make out big $$$$ they are not Dummy’s.
That is why on an older truck like most of us on this forum your truck gets totaled by the insurance because the auto body shops pump up any accident as high as they can so we lose out if they pump it up past what it is worth.

I have been pricing almost everything on my Dakota these last three years so I know what I can spend to fix things as needed.
The price of a new bumper is $500 by you but I can get that at $100 or less same quality, all the other parts prices look ok but the grill I have seen them as low as $30 online sure the grill is a little thinner material but it works fine I got one my old grill was getting ugly so I grabbed a $30 grill its fine. been using it a year now.

I doubt that that fender flare has to be replaced. You'd be surprised at how tough they are. Depends on how long it stays in that position, I'm positive it will go back to it's original position when unbolted. What I'm trying to say is that it can probably be fiberglassed and painted. If they fix it, it'll cost a lot anyway. Try and see if you can get it back and try to fix it yourself..then sell it =P
Update on truck.
Im ordering my lights now and also my buddy gave me a great idea. Its 500.00 for my chrome bumper well you know what else is 500.00 a off road bumper!! Only thing I would have to pay for is shipping so pretty much I would have a bumper for like 150.00!! Ill have to talk to the guy on monday to see if I could do that.

I skipped out on the bumper most are like 700-1,000 so just forget it. Lights should be here friday but I just dropped it off tonight so they can start surgery tomorrow. I already miss my truck hope it doesnt take long!

I'm dropping mine off on thursday, they're gonna basically reset the front bumper and give it some new paint and get rid of all the scratches. I swear once something happens to one of our trucks, there's at least 2 or 3 more of our Daks getting hurt around the same time.
Yeah I know wonder y and I think im going to need more than whats visible. I really hope they clean my engine while they are under there cause it is muddy and horrible looking lol

She is so clean! My interior is shampooed and swept and all cleaned! I am disappointed though they didnt clean under the hood. If I was them I wouldnt of either, its trashed lol. I am completely happy though everything is all warranted you cant tell any paint difference. Oh and the total was 4k I saved money with my lights and I had to pay 15.00 for my deductible lol
