It is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 5.9 L V8 Magnum Extended Cab. It has all the heavy duty packages, and is all factory. I am looking to do alot to it.. But first I would like bigger tires. Thanks

 

32's if you crank your torsion bars and 33's if you crank your bars and do a body lift

 

Hey I don't wanna thread jack, but I have the same question for my 03 CC 2wd with the 3.9. I've heard 30 but when I look at my truck I think it sits very low. Its about time for new shocks up front.

 

You can do lift coils stock I think the biggest is 30's stock

 

I've got 275/65/16's on my truck...they fit, but it aint by much...tread blocks are a little chewed from the top of the fender, but if you don't bottom out, that's a null issue...

its a 15/16th bolt at the rear of the torsion bar.

 

To add to thunders post jack up the front end make sure both ends are off the ground that way you can measure it and check the other side. I did like 20 turns on mine and that got me like 2 inch. They also reccomend to get your truck aligned afterwards but if your getting new tires just wait till you do

 

So if I crank it up tomorrow, but get new tires in about a month, am i ok to drive without it aligned during that time?

 

20 turns???? i thought 1 turn was 1/4 inch???? guess not!

since your getting new tires, yeah it probably wont do any damage. but its your call.
