Default Upgrades

I own a 2001 Dakota Quad cab 4x4.

I want to do some upgrades for it, like suspension, engine, may be some interior work. everything on the truck is stock.
right now i have tail light covers (metal pieces over tail lights), and a brush guard.

Ill try to gt some pics as soon as possible ( i have no camera!)

Thanx

What engine?

Start tossing money in an account for exhaust. Replace everything, it'll cost hundreds. Headers, high flow cat(s), muffler, custom bent pipes.
Also, fastman TB, some sort of CAI, 1.7 rockers, etc.

I had a 99 WJ with the 4.7, don't know much about upgrading them. exhaust, intake, throttle body all apply, I don't know if you can get away with different rockers or not.

Natedogg625 hey whats up listen not to be an *** to you or disrespect you in anyway. but from what it seems you dont have much money. do you live with your parents? I know its hard and i know your not going to take advice from an 18 year old but dont put too much money into your truck always remember. . . . "theres always going to be some1 faster, louder, taller, better, bigger -everything- than you" my point i would flip that around put 80 to 150 in the bank and spend 50 on the truck. just my two cents. . . .

hey man stick with the basics for right now then( at least u have a v-8 to start with) go for a drop in K&N air filter then start savin for your mods. Talk to David at premier truck on here he can give you some awesome advice for bolt ons. However like I said the easiest it the drop in and a 40 series flowmaster. Decent HP gains, impressive sound, and (big if right here) IF u can keep your foot out of it it will save you at the gas pump as well. If I drive mine like usual i get around 12 in the city, if I mind my manners I can get up 16 almost 17 in the city for a 2000 V6. Hope it helps.
