HIDs/ebay headlights? help please
Oh god man be thankful that you don't live around me. Over here in milwaukee, there's Hwy 100 which is basically a really nice road that is completely straight and flat for about 8 miles and literally ricers will come from over 30 miles away just to cruze that road. All you see is HID,Fart Cans,Body Kits, Wheels. I live about 1/4 mile from that road so I get to hear them every night, and of course the race from every stop light... So many turbos..
I have a funny ricer story,I was rollin down the road and saw a buddy of mine cruising in his flathead powered T-Bucket.I hit the feeble horn in my truck I give him the ASL sign for coffee,Get a big thumbs up.We pull off to one of local haunts and grab a bite to eat on the tail gate of my Dak. This kid comes up to us his jeans belted around his hips and his gonch pulled up to his armpits and says nice "whips" you guys got there! My buddy and I look at each other with a Scooby -Doo look and say "uh thanks" . The kid looks at the Dak makes a couple comments whats my next mods are you gonna do MAN! I said add a duece and a half chrome exhaust tip. he say to go to like a 5 or 6 inch MAN really wake the truck up and give it a cool sound MAN! he strolls over to the the flathead T-bucket and says oh cool MAN its got a Hemi!!!! We in stereo say its not a Hemi, This kid says "YA MAN thats a Hemi MAN you dont know what you got MAN give it to me MAN! needless to say me and buddy pee ourselves laughing.My buddy says give me 5 grand I'll sell it to ya! The kids says "I should kick your _$$ MAN! first for not knowing what a hemi and second for being a jerk MAN! My buddy stands up from my tail gate and says " I've been a corrections officer for 15 years,in the maximum lock up ,you can try if you wish." kid turned pasty white and heads for his civic-si you guessed it fart cannon,body kit,huge stereo,blowing oil out the fart canon (2 stroke looking!) rolls his window down a yells " 'Forget' you MAN"! We had finished our lunch had another laugh at the kid and continued on about our day!

My headlights are beat to crap and im playing with the idea of buying new ones, I have been looking on ebay but im wary of what to buy and if it will be any good.
If you guys could post pics of your aftermarket pieces with information on their cost and the retailer you bought them from (even if theyre off ebay) it would be appreciated.
Oh yeah dont forget to mention if you think theyre any good!!!!
If i go the hid route, im looking for a slightly yellowish/white light, I HATE blue. Reminds me of rice, stickers that add 50hp, big wings, massive bodykits (another 50hp right there...), neon, fart cans, vtec. All that bull.

If you look at the color contrast between halogen (yellow) and HID (white), that will influence your choice too.
