i thought the main cat didn't effect the second O2 sensor because the cats after the O2 sensor!?!

there is an 02 sensor after the CAT.



Well I want to get a spintech but I cant afford it.

I guess 4.7's are different?! Because I don't have one after the main cat.

The question is how many do you have? I know I've seen some Dak's with cali emmisions that had 3 total.

My 97' only has 1 perhaps thats the difference?

CA has more needed smog crap on any car compared to other states thats the difference.

Or someone removed the O2 off the system at one point.

on mine it goes 1 little cat off each manifold with O2's after them then it goes into a main cat after that but I thought I read you could take it off without any problems or codes hence why the op isn't getting any codes...idk haha

How quick can a cat go bad? I had mine replace about 4 years ago and now I'm getting a check engine light and when I check it is saying bad cat, or could it be something else? Oh and I just changed the o2 sensors hoping that would fix it and it didn't.
