Default I have to give up now i guess.

I did all 8 that i can see for sure.. even used car jack to try and push against frame and against bed and it won't move. So damn sore lol.

I just finally noticed that is all shifted to the left and i think there is nothing i alone could do about it. I gotta remember front has been totaled twice and back was rear ended so i'm stuck with it. Only thing that sucks is bumper is a little warped.

Dont forget about the spare tire rod it goes through your bed so that could be holding you back. Once all 8 of my bolts were out and my tire rod I could move it easily

Its not just the rod to lower your your tire goes through a hole in your bed

Just had the bed off my '99 - 8 bolts that had never been touched since it left the factory, and I was able to get 7 of them off without a grinder. #8 is now my alignment peg for reinstallation... The holes in the bed are big enough on the '99 to allow for some alignment - I had a good 3/8 inch of play before I tightened them back up. Your gas filler is also attached, but it's not sturdy enough to keep it from moving if you get some muscle into it. I used the back of my half-inch ratchet to pry mine over into position. Got it off with just me and a chain hoist - had to have another person to put it back. Glad I did it too because there was a good bit of rust on the frame and one of the leaf spring shackles was about to go!
Good luck, but you're right - might be up against the limits if it's been totaled. Alignment issues might be there to stay - just consider it some character for your truck...
