Cool Oregon no pump how strange

Do you know that in Oregon you can’t pump your own gas only a gas station attendant can pump gas?

Kinda a big deal when a Texan goes to NJ on business and tries to pump their own gas and tell the Union Gas pumper to go take a hike.. I'm from Texas I dont need someone pumping my gas.. and then to hear all the bs that flows from their mouth afterwords.. LOL..

So I am gonna flush this ASAP. But I just want to make sure after I flush do I add straight normal antifreeze to remix the with the water in the heater core or do our trucks take something different?

All you need is the regular "green" Prestone type antifreeze. None of the fancy new stuff.

Default if you dont trust yourself to do it

If you don’t trust yourself to do it mix it correctly they make the premix 50/50 in stores.

Yes just Prestone they have the 50/50 also http://www.autozone.com/autozone/accessories/Prestone-50-50-extended-life-antifreeze-and-coolant?itemIdentifier=391379

A tip I prefer to remove the bottom hose to dump out the old stuff and the flush it will flush out any grit and muck faster than the tinny little drain valve don’t use the little valve

Thanks for the heater core flush advice. Flushed it and ran it around the block an it was already warmer than before. So I'm happy.
