Wow, not bad. Do you know if there any books, manuals, write ups etc. of any kind that give you a step by step process to swap a 3.7 to 4.7? Or did you just do it completely on your own?

The only 4.7's on ebay right now are from cherokees and I guess they arent compatible with dakotas. I guess I'd have to find one from another dakota huh? Add low miles to that and sounds like a pipe dream.

I look under my hood and I see all the space between the 2 fans and it looks so natural to have 2 more cylinders there, but I'd have no clue how to reattach the wiring, emissions stuff AC and all that. That's why I was hoping there was some kind of guide to go by

if you have an 04, you have a ngc PCM with 4 plugs and a 32 crank tone ring. you cant get a older jtec 3 plug pcm that has a 16 crank tone ring. I was able to swap a 03 jeep HO in my 01 since that year ho has the 16. i believe all jeep HO's are 16.

Haha, I live only a mile or so away from where you filmed that video. Shoetz Park in Hales Corners right?

Nice truck man. I think i've seen you out on Highway 100 once or twice. I drive a 2006 silver Dakota.
