Default 97 Dodge dakota won't start

i got a 97 dakota 4cl 2wd some days my truck works fine but sometimes it won't start. some times ill try minutes later and it will work but sometimes it won't start for days. i got a new distributer cap, plugs, wires, new starter and coil, and a new battery and terminals but its still won't start sometimes. also tried cleaning the o2 sensor but nothin works. when i turn the key and hold it, it tries to start but won't and stops then tries again and just keeps doin that. any ideas? I'm missing too many waves without my truck

Fuel pump maybe. When you turn the key do you hear it prime for a few seconds?
