Hi all,
Dose any one know how much bhp a standard 98 R/T 5.9 makes?
How much could I add for a Procgarger at 8psi-ish?
If the bypass valve stays open, will it still produce boost, like 8psi, instead of 15psi?

It would be 250 HP stock and for supercharing it is about every 15 psi that your horsepower doubles with proper tuning, but you also have to take into effect that the supercharger sucks power from your engine as well with all the drag that it creates. so for 8 psi you would be looking at about a 40-55% HP increase. The valve would have to stay closed for more boost to build or a smaller pulley which would also increase the amount of boost you could produce. But if the valve opens at 8 psi, you could not make any more than that, so that is another way of regulating it.

Well if you are trying to copy this ( I'm assuming this) where you could start first is making sure that you are getting enough fuel to your engine (upgrade your fuel pump). A methanol system is a good way to cool off your engine as well as increase your power. You should make sure though that your engine can handle the boost before you throw more PSI at it
No, not copying. That is what it is, it's all on there and done, It's not, or no longer, running at that spec.
I'm thinking 11.24 quarter is around 120mph over the line. I realy want to know that it will do it.
