Question Cleaned the IAC...

OK. I had a P0121 code. Tested TPS and it was fine. Cleaned the IAC and its orfice, wiped out the TB intake, reset the code and it runs incredibly better.

My question is, everyone (including me) always talks about using good filters and such to keep the air intake clean. How is it then that there is so much gunk in the TB? Where does it come from?

Just wondering for my own education. Thanks.
