Talking thunder98110?

thunder98110 I though you did all your own work Midas what a rip off joint that place is never go their again lesson learned do your own auto repairs most are very easy to do.

But I have been a tad lazy myself and tossed the dice and let a shop trash/work on my auto and usually regretted it in the end.

as they say **** happens

You need to invest in some quality tools man... I heard that someone had a sale on task force delta tools!
Just Kidding man, I wish I could afford those tools

How fun

Can I borrow some tools?
No, we are actually one of the very few shops that makes our customers happy. When I started I did a wheel bearing on a gmc envoy and I totally forgot about the metal wheel dust shield because it was stuck on the old bearing I put it all back together and my boss said tear it apart you forgot something. I said really? he said yep you got to keep the customers happy.
Also thats my bosses tool box about 23k just in the box alone prob another 50-60k in tools on the inside!! Remember not only do we deal with passenger vehicles but also rigs and stuff like that so you need some big tools for the job.

Snap on is super nice but soooo overpriced. Craftsmen and kobalt work for me as well as my AC Delco Air tools haha

Yeah but once you get used to snap on tools you will see why they are more expensive. I can break a craftsman 3/8 in ratchet fairly easy. I was working on a f350 and the 1/2 in ratchet was to big to fit in the space so the boss said use a 3/8's on it and put a cheater pipe on there and give it hell. I literately had all my weight on it and it never did break but I did bust the bolt loose. They are built so much stronger. The craftsman has the warranty so im happy with it.

Default lucky me old tools craftsman

I’m lucky 1/2 my tools are old 1970 craftsman tools from my Dad that was a production mechanic for an aerospace company they were built much stronger back then my 1/2 ratchet is so beefy compared to the new ones craftsman sell now and the rest I purchased in the early 1980’s good stuff back then did you see my table grinder that thing is two generations old and still works great made in the USA not China very heavy construction.
