Default busy weekend

replaced my tierods and replaced both wheel hubs, and the noise is gone!

the passanger side took 20 minutes of beating it with a hammer to get it off. and the bearings were toast.

BUT.....2yrs ago when i got my breaks done midas F'ed up the bolt that holds in the caliper to the knuckle. the bolt is cross threaded into the knuckle and it makes the worst high pitch squeel noise constantly b/c the caliper clip is rubbing. Midas is going to get a call from me in the morning.

See another reason not to let a shop touch your truck lol. I had to heli coil my passenger side cause it stripped out after I did my brake change. I know if a shop was doing it they would of put some loctite on it and hopped for the best.

Angry If you are lucky

With a shop you may get lucky and they F-up only one thing as they fix the thing you came into get fixed or outright try to rip you off with un-needed repairs that as usual cost $600 to fix or your battery mysteriously dies as they work on it or your tire has a nail in it always something pops up to conveniently cost more in repairs than before.

i dunno if you guys remember but like a year ago my calipers siezed, while i was on a roadtrip in VA, got them done at a midas there. I called the local midas here and they told me to call the shop that installed it. which i just did, The VA shop is calling the KS shop now.

midas fail. they told me that dodges are notorious for having cross threaded caliper bolts, and said even if it was installed correctly even backing the screw out can cross thread it. BSSSSSS
