2004 Dakota SLT 4.7L V8 4WD Quad Cab (64,000 Miles)
Before I make the purchase I really want to know what common problems to this year and Model I should look for. I want to get it up on the lift and make sure I am not inheriting any inherent problems. Any information you guys have on what I should make sure checks out would be greeattly appreciated. Thanks in advance

I have a 2002 4x4, club cab and about 2 times since I've had it the front brake have locked up. Both times it was under warranty and the dealer replaced caliper, hoses etc. Since then the drivers side front brake randomly get really hot from dragging. I noticed serveral others with the same problem. There a investigation underway by the Federal Trade Commision on it. Maybe by 2004 model they solved the problem. Ask the current owner about it before you buy!!
