Default My trucks driving me nuts

I pulled on an on ramP and started accelerating to highway speed. And no overdrive. I limped 45 miles at 50 mph/2k rpms. What the heck is going on. I tried to hit od on/off but no luck. Codes are for an evaporate leak and tps(REALLY NEED to get that tps I stall sometimes :/)

i had a simulare issue a few months back, and mine was a sensor on the side of the trans. I cant remember off the top of my head what it was called. But it was fairly cheep and really easy to replace.

Do you know what the evap code # is? Also, what does your tranny fluid look like?

I would go to auto zone and get the trans filter, gasket, and fluid (ATF +3 or ATF +4) and the TPS sensor. The TPS sensor for my 00 Dakot ais only 33.99 there so I am sure yours would not be much more if at all. Do those two things then test. The other sensors mentioned above on the side of the trans are the input and output speed sensors....they are cheap too. Examine the old trans fluid looking at color and contents (metal)

On the evap code, mine was a little hose that was unplugged on the under side of the truck around the back of the tcase.
