Default Remote Start Help

I`m installing a an Autopage C3RS665-2W in my 2002 Dodge Dakota 4 door, I have every wire done apart from the RED/WHITE wire from and the WHITE wire from the Autopage H2 wire harness.

The H2- Red/White: Parking Light Relay Power Input, this is what the install manual says:
The RED/WHITE wire is the input to the flashing parking light relay.
The connection of the RED/WHITE wire will determine the output polarity of the flashing parking light relay.
If the vehicle you are working on has +12volt switched parking lights, you don’t need connect this wire.
This wire is already connected to +12volt, If the vehicle’s parking lights are ground switched, cut the RED/WHITE wire, and connect the RED/WHITE wire to chassis ground.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
WHITE WIRE — PARKING LIGHT RELAY OUTPUT (+12 V 10A OUTPUT)
Connect the WHITE wire to the parking light wire coming from the headlight switch. Do not connect the WHITE wire to the dashboard lighting dimmer switch. (Damage to the dimmer will result). The limitation of the WHITE wire is 10 AMP max. Do not exceed this limit or damage to the alarm and parking relay will result.
………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

OK, so this is my question:

Should I cut the RED/WHITE wire and connect the RED/WHITE wire to ground, or tape it up and leave it, and connect the WHITE wire to the Black/Yellow (+) at Headlight Switch.

Thanks for your help.

It is best not to use the positive parking light wire on your truck, because of the dimmer being part of that circuit. It is much better to use the negative parking light wire in the truck. So you would ground the red/white wire and connect the parking light output wire from the alarm to the negative parking light wire at the CTM, it is red with a yellow stripe, in connector #1, pin 4 at the CTM. Be sure to check the wire with a volt meter before making the connection.
