I have been having the same problem. But I replaced the battery, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor button, pick up inside the distributor, coil and fuel pump. I am still having trouble with the truck starting. I am very confused. Also with my truck while I am driving the engine will shut off. I have all electrical power but not power to the engine. Then when I try to start my truck it will turn over but wont start. I have no clue what the problem is. I need help.

I checked the crank position sensor. It checked out good. Someone said check the tps. I pulled the plug on the sensor while the truck was running, they said if I pulled the plug on the sensor while the truck was running it should shut off if the tps sensor is working right. But when I did it stumbled for a second and just kept running. I was wondering if the truck should shut down if the tps sensor is not plugged in?
