Which wheels lock up?

Do you have 4 wheel ABS or RWAL?

So you only have rear anti-lock. No faults?

It's supposed to bleed pressure when it senses a lock.

Start out by checking the brakes on both sides. It's not uncommon for them to bind or have seized pistons. Once that's done, make sure they are properly adjusted. If everything is good, it may be the RWAL valve. It's the valve that dumps the pressure.
