@Judasentinal- Makes sense to me, thx! Very well written explanation.
@Chris1996- That looks exactly like what I want! Did that bolt straight onto the stock air hat or did you have to put a new one on? Any chance of a link? I can't find it on Amazon :/

Thanks Chris! I think I'm get those for it and see how it works out. Will it make any difference in winter with it being so cold out? I'm in central Ontario Canada so it can get really cold!

John, since we are in ON, and its getting colder, it wont make a difference. Already, the gas mileage would go down with the temperatures falling sub-zero. I say dont bother with it until spring hits in April 2012. The air coming into the stock box is generally cold nowadays.

I am too new to the world of trucks and am thinking on how to drive this thing in the snow. Do I need sandbags or not. I have only driven RWD vehicles for a decade now, but a tail-happy truck may be a bit too much even for me.

@Judasentinal- I had no idea cold would drop my mileage, thx for the tip! I would definitely drop sand bags in, or some form of weight to keep it from sliding out on ya. I built myself a custom weight right above the axle in my trucks box using patio stones and 2x4's. I have a bag of sand though to use when I get stuck.
@Chris- Ok thx

I would, it will help out quite a bit with your traction. I throw a couple 80lb salt bags in the bed of mine and it does wonders.

@Ahsnowlover- Won't salt rust your trucks bed out? Sand would be better and cheaper no?
