I have purchased a remote start kit - not having any electrical experience, would I be able to install it based on help here and the install manual that came with it?

 

I guess it kind of depends. There are some guys here that can offer a lot of help and have experience with remote starts and we would be glad to help you. However you need to have some understanding of wiring techniques, installation methods, relays, diodes, resistors, the ability to use and read a voltmeter and a good working knowledge of your truck's electrical system. If you don't have the right experience and tools, it might be best to let a shop install your remote start.
