Default K&N Filter

Hey all, I'm in the process of making a design for my own custom CAI. I decided for a filter to use a K&N (seems to be the best and most widely used) filter. I can't decide however which would be the best one to use, or will it really make a difference? I've been looking at these filters:

http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RP-4930
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RP-4660
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RU-2520

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Bigger is better.. Spectre makes the same exact problem and are identical more or less.. and are much cheaper than K & N; you're really just paying for the name really.

Which ever one is the largest and still fits where you need it to.

look at an amsoil filter. you can see through a k&n , and if you can see light, dirt comes right in.

Yeah if you look at the studies on the "High Flow Filters" they are around I think the numbers were like 94-96% filtration rate; and once the partials start sticking it increases its filtering ability. Where as a paper filter was around 98-99%

I forget the numbers.. but yeah.. Problem is the fine partials that can make it through can also make it through even with a paper filter; they always tend to find a way.. like on my wife's car. As these things age; youll get some degree of fine dust partials..
