Default !help!

Ok guys this is my first time posting here though i have used the site to solve problems on my 1500, but now i have a 2002 dodge Dakota sport, and i need major help. I got into my truck this morning started it with no problem, was putting a band aid on and in a moment of brief stupidity i turned the key when it was already on, my starter went i let go and the truck shut off. Now when i turn my key i get nothing.....at all. No dash lights, no door dings when its open with the key in, i know the battery is fine unless it just exploded, my guess is I blew my starter, but i doubt that, maybe a fuse? i don't know and now im stuck at home and can't get to school. Any help is much appreciated.

My moms gonna **** if its a major fix sooooooo gimme some good news? tell me its something small

It could have popped one of the main fuses out in the Power Distribution Center which is next to the battery. Remove the cover and check each one. It will be easy to see if the main high curent fuses are OK, they have clear plastic covers on them. That is the first place to look on this kind of problem.
