Default No spark

I'm looking at a 97 4cyl 5 speed Dakota and the guy told me it won't start. He said he pulled the trans to put a throwing bearing in and now has 3 wires hanging going from tb area to trans. Anybody have any ideas? Im guessing the crank position sensor?

Are these the color of the wires that are hanging?

CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CAV CIRCUIT FUNCTION
1 K24 18GY/BK CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL
2 K4 18BK/LB SENSOR GROUND
3 K6 20VT/WT 8 VOLT SUPPLY
