I wonder if someone can help me.I had to replace my computer 30 days ago because of code p 601.So,i got a remanufactured computer from dodge computers online.It was less than 1/2 price the dodge dealership wanted.I thought I would give it a try.I replaced my computer with the replacement and the 601 error code did not reappear.However,Ive got another code P 1282.Now,the car starts fine ( so there must not be any power problems)But anyway,I verified that the relay itself was ok.Next,I unplugged the relay and verified that I had ignition voltage from the computer.Also,there was ground at the relay cavity ( the gound signal is supplied to the relay when the relay receives 12 volts from the computer.Im at my witts end.Is it possible i have a bad computer? Change out the fuel pump relay for another known to be good relay in the PDC and see if it fixes the problem. If not then I'd contact the people I bought the PCM from.
