I have a 1997 2wd 5.2L dakota, cold air intake daul exhaust, the truck starts and idles perfect, in the gears 1st through 3rd it doesn't hesitate or seem to be lacking power, but when I get up to speed in 4th and 5th it wants sputer if I back put on trotle it seems to clear back but just acclerating in 5th it doesn't want to go. I can tell its trying but doesn't, I was womdering if any one has had similar problems or can tell me what's wrong with. Thanks

My 97 sorta does the same thing.. unless I get in passing gear but it has no ballz; up in the higher speed trying to get up and go.. all it's ummph is down load gear1-2 3-4 & Final OD sucks ballz so bad on these things..
