Unhappy Cold temp. starting problem

Hi guys i'm new in your forum. first of all i apologize for my poor english, but it's not my first language. I'm a french canadian.

So i have a 00 Dak with 4.7 V8, my problem is with the winter and freezy temp, my truck are pretty hard to start when it's cold. If the temperature going down to 15 F or -10 C, the truck start then fire up but he dies almost immediately. I have to start with the foot in gas pedal to have a successful start. Then if i dont keep the foot on gaz for at least one minute he does'nt keep is idle and he dies again. After one or two minute of "forcing idling" he runs perfectly.

Does a Trottle body and IAC cleaning can help me with this trouble ??

Thanks a lot for your help !!

That would be a good start right there , probably wouldn't hurt to replace the IAC valve since ya gotta pull it off anyways to do a good cleaning of the throttle body .
