Dakota 99' V8 5.9 - My first car
Hello,
I'm going tomorrow to check out a Dak 99, V8 5.9 R/T. This is my first car and I'm really excited to be getting something that I can off-road in, race, and upgrade.
The one that I'm looking at is 4.2K, going to talk down to 3.8K, and has 83K miles.
Club cab and all stock. They say that they are the only owners and that it has been garage kept most of its life.
When I go tomorrow I'm going to be looking that the aesthetic proportions of the car and if I'm interested I'll go back with a mechanic buddy that deals a lot with used cars.
Any advice on what I should look for/ do?
Any advice on anything is appreciated.

83K miles, not 4x4
Not sure why pictures they supplied are old, but I'm going to take more tomorrow.

I first gotta learn a whole lot about the truck, and engines in general, before I start tinkering around with upgrades. But I'm thinking 2-3 inch lift with different tires.
yeah itll be a sweet rig and ill think youll really like it if you end up buying it.
i ended up buying a 3.9 which is extremely underpowered. its fun to play with being a 5 speed, was pretty hard at first to learn how to drive controlling the clutch and what not.
